The Chapel of Our Lady of Good Voyage was dedicated on December 7, 1952. With the growth of new buildings in the Seaport District the building was torn down and a new chapel opened a few blocks away in 2017. Not knowing about the imminent destruction of the Chapel, I would occasionally stop to shoot photos on my treks out to the Institute of Contemporary Art located nearby.
